As a Data Integration engineer at Crisp, you will be working with some of Crisp’s most strategic partners and help us bring data locked away in their internal systems to the greater supply chain ecosystem. Your responsibilities include evaluating, designing, implementing and running data integration systems. Some of the work will be tailored to specific partners, but being part of a product engineering team, you are focused on building repeatable processes and well monitored, high quality, reusable components.

Signs of a great candidate for a Data Integration Engineer

  • Integrating with legacy systems is an interesting engineering challenge to you. Some systems might be difficult to get data out of, have confusing data model models, or both. You see these issues as interesting problems that can be solved elegantly with skillful software engineering and modern data tools.
  • You enjoy detective work. It can often be hard to determine how data from two systems should be joined or what the best source of truth for a bit of data is. Finding the right solution will often require conversations with the right people and multiple deep-dives into the data.
  • Product and platform focus. Crisp will integrate with thousands of partners over the next few years. You recognize that this kind of scale has significant implications to how we implement, run and maintain integrations. Perhaps you already have experience building such platforms, but it’s also okay if past series of “one-off” work has left you with desire to build one.
